Milton Haber, M.D.,
Owner of Urgent Care on Del Mar

Milton Haber, M.D. is an internist who has over 30 years of private practice. He received his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon. He then completed an internship at Marshall University in Huntington, WV and an internal medicine residency at Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling, WV.

Dr. Haber has extensive experience in critical care and emergency medicine. Along with his Nurse Practitioners, Dr. Haber’s goal is to carry out his longstanding vision to provide quality care at an affordable price in the urgent care setting.

Dr. Milton Haber is also the founder of Laguna Clinical Research Associates.

Ronald Meza,
Family Nurse Practitioner

Ronald Meza, MSN, AGACNP-BC has over 21 years of nursing experience and has been in the healthcare industry for 28 yrs. He obtained his Master’s degree from the University of Texas at El Paso and was credentialed through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (AANC) Board.

He has been practicing as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse for 4 yrs. Ron’s areas of experience include critical care, internal medicine, pulmonology, and oncology. Ron looks forward to providing a positive healthcare experience for patients at Urgent Care on Del Mar.

Marco Vela,
Family Nurse Practitioner

Marco Vela has been with Urgent Care on Del Mar since it opened in 2019. He is a patient-pleaser, taking time to make each patient feel valued and cared for throughout every visit. Marco is regularly named in the clinic’s 5-star reviews for his caring, compassion, and excellent clinical skills.

Marco graduated from Texas A&M as a Nurse Practitioner and has 15 years of nurse practitioner experience, and previous experience as a Registered Nurse. He has practiced in the local emergency rooms and critical care units, and brings that valuable insight into patient care at Urgent Care on Del Mar.

Leo “Trey” Garza,
Medical Assistant

Leo “Trey” Garza is an Urgent Care on Del Mar veteran. Out of high school, he interned with Milton Haber, M.D’s primary practice as a medical assistant. He then took his skills to the urgent care setting and has been with Urgent Care on Del Mar since its opening.

He is also enrolled at TAMIU and pursuing a nursing career. Trey’s smile, winning attitude, and clinical skills contribute to Urgent Care on Del Mar’s stellar reviews.

Fatima Garza,
Medical Assistant

Fatima Garza joined the Urgent Care on Del Mar team in 2022. Fatima is a Medical Assistant who is currently pursuing a Nursing Degree at TAMIU.

Fatima’s ability to multitask and deliver excellent customer service and clinical care quickly made her an integral and important part of the healthcare team at Urgent Care on Del Mar. She consistently brings patient satisfaction to the forefront of her clinical focus.

Elizabeth Galvan,
Family Nurse Practitioner

Elizabeth Galvan MSN, APRN, FNP-BC has 13 years of nursing experience and has been in the healthcare industry for 15 years.

She obtained her Master’s degree from the University of Walden and was credentialed through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board. Mrs. Galvan’s areas of experience include critical care, oncology and hyperbaric & wound care. She was raised in Eagle Pass and is excited about serving her community.

Veronica Diaz,
Family Nurse Practitioner

Veronica Diaz is originally from Eagle Pass,TX. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from TAMIU-Laredo in 2008 and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Family Nurse Practitioner from UT-Medical Branch Galveston in 2020. She's board certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and 14 years of nursing experience in acute care areas of medical/surgical, telemetry, oncology, pediatrics & emergency room.

She moved back to Eagle Pass to be able to give to her community and provide top-quality healthcare. Urgent Care Del Mar has given her the opportunity to take care of her community and provide our residents with affordable health care services.

Pedro Garcia,
Family Nurse Practitioner

Pedro Garcia, APRN, FNP-BC is a family nurse practitioner who serves the Eagle Pass community with Urgent Care Del Mar, in providing quality and compassionate health care. Mr. Garcia has been involved in the healthcare industry since 1995 as a combat medic with the US Army Reserve, paramedic since 2000, registered nurse since 2007, and nurse practitioner since 2019.

He currently practices as a flight medic/nurse for the last 12 years with Air Evac EMS and part-time as a nurse practitioner in the urgent care. Pedro Garcia received his Master’s Degree from Texas A&M Health Science Center in College Station, TX, and is board certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Cesar Flores,
Office Manager and
Clinical Research Assistant

Cesar Flores has 2+ years of experience in Healthcare Administration/Management and Direct Patient Care. He's driven to obtain a Bachelor's in Science Degree and a Minor in Healthcare Management to further pursue a career in Clinical Research Studies..

Cesar also took on the responsibility and role as Office Manager first in Laredo, Texas and then Eagle Pass, Texas. His hard work made it possible to open Urgent Care on Del Mar’s sister clinic in Eagle Pass, Texas.

Amanda Montalvo,
Medical Office Receptionist

Amanda is the Medical Office Receptionist. She's highly skilled in handling of new software applications, maintaining schedules, setting up appointments, taking messages, collecting insurance information/copays and treating patients with compassion and respect.

She has previously worked at the Maverick County Hospital District as a Front Office Specialist as well as an Office Manager at New Glorious Home Health in Eagle Pass, Texas.

Alicia Rodriguez,
Medical Assistant

Alicia joined our team with 3+ years of experience in Healthcare Administration and Direct Patient Care. She carries forth the strength and ability to multitask, operate well with others and develops an energetic and responsible approach to any task presented or undertaken.

She's patient-care oriented, bringing forth a compassionate, friendly and approachable attitude into our new clinic in Eagle Pass, Texas. Ms. R is also determined to obtain an Associate's of Applied Science in Nursing (AASN). She has a variety of past skills and experience in other clinical settings, which make her an asset to the urgent care setting.

Angelina Fuentes,
Medical Assistant and
Phlebotomy Technician

Angelina is a dedicated, compassionate and goal oriented health care team member with 4+ years of experience as a Clinical Medical Assistant. She's an extremely strong, driven individual who's eager to develop a variety of skills set and knowledge in the clinical setting. Mrs. Fuentes is also driven to obtain her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) to further chase a career in
the Healthcare industry.

Mrs. Fuentes has previously worked as a Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy Technician with Dr. Hector Trevino, MD and at the Maverick County Hospital District and currently works at Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center as a Surgical Technician.

Miriam Chapa,
Medical Assistant

Miriam is an accomplished and energetic individual with 6+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant. She's dedicated most of her life to providing high quality care in the clinical and hospital setting. Mrs. Chapa is goal-oriented and dedicated to providing high levels of customer satisfaction and meeting aggressive business goals.

Mrs. Chapa has previously worked as a CNA at Maverick Nursing and Rehab Center, and as a Medical Assistant with Maverick Women's Clinic O.B.G.Y.N. and Various Family Practice Clinics in the region and is currently working as a Medical Technician at Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center since 2016.
